"Susan Estelle Kwas is the illustrator of eight books for children. Residing on the lovely midwestern shores of Lake Michigan, she is also a part time instructor of illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where she is busy turning young fresh faced idealists into hardened cynics. When not making art, which is really, really hardly ever- she is an devoted journal keeper (illustrated, of course), cardigan knitter, book binder, movie goer and kitten rustler.
