I am a Milwaukee, Wisconsin artist who specializes in detailed black pencil illustrations on white textured coquille board. I have a BFA in Illustration from Northern Illinois University, and over 10 years experience working as a graphic designer, art director, and project manager. I opened my own business, Peggy's Studio (www.peggysstudio.com), in 2005, and also teach drawing part-time. I am active in my local art community and recently joined SCBWI (The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) to advance my career in illustration.
