Leslie is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Printmaking. She has worked for editorial, publishing, museum and advertising clients over the past 25 years. Some of her illustrations are relief prints, which she produces in her letterpress studio, the Sea Dog Press. Morgan, the press namesake, frequently surfaces in her work.
