Gary Hovland has been illustrating books, magazines and newspapers for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, where he later taught an undergraduate course in “Humorous Illustration”. Some of his clients include Simon and Schuster Publishing, Alfred Knopf Publishing, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Esquire, W magazine, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. He lives in southern California with his wife, two children and an ornery pug dog.
