Ed Shems is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has been freelance illustrating since 1991. Ed has created work for book publishers, magazines, marketing companies, universities, museums and many commercial clients. Ed also travels to elementary schools and teaches confidence building as well as visual literacy to young artists. Ed lives in Boston with his lovely wife Bree and son, Leo.
