Christine Jenny a designer and fine artist who lived and worked in
New York City for twenty five years. After receiving a Masters Degree in painting
from Columbia University, School of the Arts, she continued her studies at the
School of Visual Arts in graphic design and children’s book illustration.
Her career to date has encompassed a comprehensive range of works from
picture books to book cover design. In 2005 a illustration was selected in the
special event “Illustrating Andersen” at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
Today as a native of Switzerland she lives with her dog and cat in Basel where
she continues to work as a freelance artist and enjoys wherever a challenge
takes her.
