Bio: I am an artist living in New York City. My illustrations are full of movement and energy, sparkling with bright colors; they are whimsical, often happy and humorous. I guess they reflect who I am. I like working in a physical way, showing brush strokes or pencil lines. I try to think like a happy kid when I make my illustrations. I also teach drawing at Parsons School of Design. I have one son, Ulysses. All the boys I draw are somehow related to him, at least that's what he suspects.
