I like the rich color and graphic possibilities of gouache, as well as the translucent and impressionistic effects of watercolor. These pieces are from a variety of book, magazine, and web site projects.

I attempted to bring a woodcut flavor to digital work, utilizing wood grain in the Photoshop layers and keeping limited color throughout the series of images.

I created my first NON-one-of-a-kind books in collaboration with poets using letterpress type and relief cut images. I printed, bound, and distributed these works of love. This small press sensibility is seen in my first commercial illustration projects.
