Barbara Spurllbarbara@barbaraspurll.comBioBarbara's family traded the English fog for the wind-chill factor of Winnipeg, Canada when she was three-and-a-half. She survived the winters and Cream of Wheat, eventually moving east to Toronto to study art at the Artists' Workshop, the New School of Art and George Brown College. Barbara's humorous style has been said to portray "animals with attitude". Barbara has illustrated many children’s picture books including Rhinos for Lunch and Elephants for Supper!, Emma’s Eggs and others commissioned by publishers such as Fitzhenry & Whiteside, Scholastic Inc., Oxford University Press, Clarion and Zonderkidz.

Patricia Palerminopatpalermino@cox.netBioAmerican folk artist Patricia Palermino has been publishing her unique collection of prints and note cards for 15 years. Her works are sold in numerous galleries and are in many private and public collections including the White House and the American Museum in Bath, England. Using vibrant colors and a cast of playful characters, Palermino creates an array of magical scenes that combine a whimsical spirit with a hint of nostalgia. Each of her pieces is created in her Alexandria studio and proudly reflects the character and charisma found in many of the United State's most popular cities and landmarks. The happy and detailed images entice viewers of all ages, evoking smiles and pleasant memories. Palermino's artwork has appeared on many posters and publications including the program cover of the National Easter Egg Roll at the White House, the UNICEF Corporate Christmas Card Collection, Historic Alexandria, Gadsby's Tavern Museum, Gunston Hall Museum, Woodlawn Plantation Museum, Winterthur Museum's Point to Point Races, United Card and Exxon of Japan, the National Horticultural Society and others. Original paintings are sold by the Frank J. Miele Gallery in New York City.
