Diego Moscatomoscatodiego@gmail.comBioMy way of working is a combination of traditional and digital techniques. In traditional techniques, drawing and the ink is where I am more professional. Watercolors, watercolors, pencils and acrylics are the most commonly used soil but choose the more appropriate tool because each has its own character as to illustrate the text. Along with the use of digital tablet, Photoshop and versatility in reproduction of textures and strokes complete the process to meet deadlines without affecting image quality. These are digital media by email or yousendlt. My greatest affinity and experience is to the texts to a young audience, but I'm open to other audiences, texts or proposals. I bet for versatility.

Shelagh Inglesbyshelaghinglesby@gmail.comBioI am a Florida illustrator and graduate of the University of South Florida in 1995, majoring in drawing and painting. I began as an artist working in traditional mediums, from watercolor, to acrylic paints, oil paints, charcoal, conte crayon, ink and pastels but now I enjoy the clean paperless and environmentally friendly aspect of creating my illustrations in computer art programs Photoshop and Corel Painter X. I work in layers so there is a big advantage in being able to edit the final image for a picture book. I use lighting effects, shadows and a textured brush for a luminous dreamy background.

Steve Horrocksbodbod67@gmail.comBioI have worked in Animation for over fifteen years. I also work as a freelance Illustrator, working in Children's books, comics greeting cards and toy design. Recently I finished my third children's book. The last two books have been for Ladybird books. Unfortunately they don't come out until the end of 2012, Ladybird books have a strict policy of not being able to show work until its printed. so I can't show any of those illustrations. I work with mixed media using Acrylic, watercolor and Photoshop. I am always happy to make changes on a project and work with Art directors to get the best results. Be sure to check my Blog if you like what you see, it has comic work, greeting cards, pencil drawings and also some rough page layouts etc. It is also where I'll be posting any new artwork.

Tanja Bauerletanja@bauerle.comBioEven though Tanja has been an artist her entire life she has worked professionally as a Graphic Designer for over 12 years. Her design sense and strong composition and color skills can clearly been seen in her illustrations. Since 2003, Tanja has strictly worked as a freelance illustrator and designer with her main focus being children’s illustration. Her first picture book, “There’s a Coqui in My Shoe!”, written by Marisa de Jesus Paolicelli and released by ChiChi Rodriguez Books in 2007, won the 2008 10th Annual International Latino Book Awards for Best Educational Children's Book - English. Her second book “The Adventures of Salt and Soap at Grand Canyon” published by the Grand Canyon Association will be released in the spring of 2009. In addition to design and illustration projects varying from character studies, book illustrations, greeting cards and marketing collateral, Tanja has enjoyed working on numerous book jackets ranging from children’s titles to adult fiction and non-fiction titles. Her love of story telling drives her to continually refine her craft. Traditional mediums such as acrylics, water color as well as pen and ink are Tanja’s favorite, but she also loves the freedom that digital tools such as Photoshop offer. Tanja is an active member of the Arizona chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and helps out as Co-Illustrator Representative. After having lived in Germany and Australia, Tanja now calls Arizona her home with her family and her two Goldens Otto and Peanut and cat Ducky.
