| Corey Wolfe | coreyrwolfe@msn.com | Bio | You may view more work on my website: www.coreywolfe.com
I've been a working artist since 1979. I've designed and painted pieces for dvd video covers, movie posters, point of purchase displays, computer game covers, magazines, children books, toys, and character development.
I am self taught, though I have worked in two design firms early in my career.
I work in a beautiful 1300 square foot studio I had built from scratch. It has a professional photography area for shooting reference shots, a traditional painting area, a costume area, and a digital area.
Corey
I'm traditionally trained, so I'm comfortable painting in oils, acrylics, or digitally. I often use a combination to get the best results.
Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to working with you.

| Juana Martinez-Neal | me@juanamartinezneal.com | Bio | Hi there! I'm Juana and I'm a children's illustrator. I love art and birdies.
I was born in Lima, the capital of Peru. I've been illustrating for children since I was 16. Back then, my work was sold in toy packaging all across the country. I was having so much fun.
Education is a must and I attended the best art school ever, Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru - School of Fine Arts. After 3 years of a crazy 8-to-8 schedule and way too many all-nighters, I was in desperate need of a semester-break and decided to give L.A. a "test drive." I have lived in the US ever since.
I now live and work in Scottsdale, Arizona. I found a boy that I love and together we have two active, young boys who are always getting into trouble and chasing Mr. Snaggle-Tooth Kitty and Puppy.
I'm currently available for new and exciting projects so email me and let's talk. Extra points to you if you do it in Spanish. |
| karen craig | karen.craig1@gmail.com | Bio | Karen Craig has been designing and illustrating for children for many years. She welcomes all projects, both large and small.
Her first job was to conceptualize, design and illustrate kids' educational materials for Upstart, now owned by the Highsmith Company.
This led her to a job with Nickelodeon where she was a senior designer for seven years, learning the many facets of working within the realm of licensed brands, products and properties.
Karen has illustrated over 25 books for various publishers, based on the Nickelodeon series, Blue's Clues.
Karen is a big fan of paper engineering and also enjoys creating 'artist books' of all kinds.
The Museum of Modern Art published two of her pop-up card designs for their 2007 through 2011 Holiday lines. One of these designs was recently selected as a Louie Award finalist by the National Greeting Card Association.
Karen's cloth book concept 'Play Pockets' was published by Innovative KIDS and received a Seal of Excellent from Creative Child Magazine.
She is currently developing additional soft book and board book concepts, although she has yet to seek out a publisher. Inquiries welcome!

| Leanne Franson | inkspots@videotron.ca | Bio | Leanne Franson lives in Montreal, Québec, where she illustrates children's books and textbooks in her home studio, surrounded by the hair from her two cats, her Saint-Bernard and her little boy Benjamin Taotao's toys and questions. She started working on books in French as well as English after moving to Francophone Canada from the Prairies, and is now learning Mandarin, Taotao's native language. She especially loves drawing animals, and feisty children having adventures, physical or emotional. She wouldn't give up her computer, but couldn't live without her actual pencil, paper and paintbrush! |
| Lee Calderon | lee@leecalderon.com | Bio | Having first studied architecture, then graphic design, Lee has synthesized both disciplines to create a fresh, artful style that is fun, colorful, modern, stylized, charming, and playful, appealing to both today's children and adult markets. He has created art for various folks ranging from book publishers to magazines to game & toy manufacturers to ad agencies and design firms, not to mention a huge interior wall project for the Loveland Library that he was recently awarded. Lee's art is also available for licensing on products and any other surface that doesn't mind getting attention.
Look for Lee and his work in the 'Artist Spotlight' of the upcoming September issue of LAYERS Magazine.
Lee creates his art from his home-based studio in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he lives and plays with his wife, three kids and beagle, Lucy. |
