Cheryl Welchwelchdesign@aol.comBioMy illustrative focus has been two-fold—designing for surface/textiles and for children’s picture books. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some great clients, and have illustrated product-driven textiles for Hasbro, packaging for Fisher-Price, and a Kindergarten Reader for Scott-Foresman. Whatever the project, my goal is to create art that inspires thought, evokes a smile, and serves a purpose. Whether creating a funny character or an everyday object, I use unusual colors, lines that sometimes don’t connect and seemingly impossible patterns jig-sawed together to become a strange and perfect new world filled with humor and surprise.

Corey Wolfecoreyrwolfe@msn.comBioYou may view more work on my website: www.coreywolfe.com I've been a working artist since 1979. I've designed and painted pieces for dvd video covers, movie posters, point of purchase displays, computer game covers, magazines, children books, toys, and character development. I am self taught, though I have worked in two design firms early in my career. I work in a beautiful 1300 square foot studio I had built from scratch. It has a professional photography area for shooting reference shots, a traditional painting area, a costume area, and a digital area. Corey I'm traditionally trained, so I'm comfortable painting in oils, acrylics, or digitally. I often use a combination to get the best results. Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to working with you. Corey

My illustration style (traditional or digital) is perfect for capturing the attention of children and adults. Not only are they fun to look at, but they provide a beneficial resource to a child's education. I love what I do, and I try to put something unique in each project while learning something new too. When I am not drawing (and many times when I am) you can find me telling jokes, making sound effects, speaking Spanish, and trying to make people laugh. Contact me now for your next project! Tanja Bauerletanja@bauerle.comBioEven though Tanja has been an artist her entire life she has worked professionally as a Graphic Designer for over 12 years. Her design sense and strong composition and color skills can clearly been seen in her illustrations. Since 2003, Tanja has strictly worked as a freelance illustrator and designer with her main focus being children’s illustration. Her first picture book, “There’s a Coqui in My Shoe!”, written by Marisa de Jesus Paolicelli and released by ChiChi Rodriguez Books in 2007, won the 2008 10th Annual International Latino Book Awards for Best Educational Children's Book - English. Her second book “The Adventures of Salt and Soap at Grand Canyon” published by the Grand Canyon Association will be released in the spring of 2009. In addition to design and illustration projects varying from character studies, book illustrations, greeting cards and marketing collateral, Tanja has enjoyed working on numerous book jackets ranging from children’s titles to adult fiction and non-fiction titles. Her love of story telling drives her to continually refine her craft. Traditional mediums such as acrylics, water color as well as pen and ink are Tanja’s favorite, but she also loves the freedom that digital tools such as Photoshop offer. Tanja is an active member of the Arizona chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and helps out as Co-Illustrator Representative. After having lived in Germany and Australia, Tanja now calls Arizona her home with her family and her two Goldens Otto and Peanut and cat Ducky.
