Jane Smithjane@superjane.comBioJane Smith loves paper. She has boxes and boxes of it, all organized by color. She enjoys creating collages that celebrate a child’s discovery of the world around them. Her work strives to capture those little moments when for the very first time a snail is revealed beneath a leaf or a garbage truck is seen out the window. And when the challenge of marrying a novelty element with images with text comes up, Jane is particularly excited. There is nothing more satisfying than a perfectly timed lift-the-flap or a surprising pop-up!

Sally Vitskysvitsky@comcast.netBio Sally Vitsky has always been drawn to the tactile quality of paper and the endless possibilities of constructing imagery in 3-D. As of late, Sally has focused on using recycled and “green” materials in her work. One of her favorite clients is the American Forest & Paper Association who is always happy to have another mode to stress sustainability and recycling efforts. Sally’s work has been included in the Society of Illustrators 3-D Salon and the annual 3 X 3 magazine competition. During the rare moments when not cutting and gluing, Sally is happily at home in Richmond, Va. with her husband and dog, exploring the growing local arts venues and The Virginia Museum, and enjoying the empty nest that resulted from 2 little boys turning, miraculously, into young adults!
