Anne Catharine Blakeannecatharineblake@gmail.comBioAnne Catharine Blake is a creative blend of Americans and Canadians. Known as Catharine or Cathy to her friends, she grew up half time in Canada on a farm, and half time in the US around the theatre and her grandfather’s commercial art studio. Her illustrations have appeared in over 60 publications, including children’s books, magazines and newspapers. Her art has also been exhibited in galleries and can be viewed in private and public collections. Catharine loves to draw and learn exciting new ways to create art, whether it’s with a digital pen on a Wacom Cintiq or on paper and pencil. She is also notorious for sketching on sticky notes and leaving a trail wherever she goes. Most days, Catharine can be found in her studio on the 3rd floor of the Hala B. Darling House in Upstate New York. With her studio cat, Hala to keep her company, she paints, draws, writes, and teaches art and design online at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to undergraduate students both in the US and abroad. Corey Wolfecoreyrwolfe@msn.comBioYou may view more work on my website: www.coreywolfe.com I've been a working artist since 1979. I've designed and painted pieces for dvd video covers, movie posters, point of purchase displays, computer game covers, magazines, children books, toys, and character development. I am self taught, though I have worked in two design firms early in my career. I work in a beautiful 1300 square foot studio I had built from scratch. It has a professional photography area for shooting reference shots, a traditional painting area, a costume area, and a digital area. Corey I'm traditionally trained, so I'm comfortable painting in oils, acrylics, or digitally. I often use a combination to get the best results. Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to working with you. Corey

Diego Moscatomoscatodiego@gmail.comBioMy way of working is a combination of traditional and digital techniques. In traditional techniques, drawing and the ink is where I am more professional. Watercolors, watercolors, pencils and acrylics are the most commonly used soil but choose the more appropriate tool because each has its own character as to illustrate the text. Along with the use of digital tablet, Photoshop and versatility in reproduction of textures and strokes complete the process to meet deadlines without affecting image quality. These are digital media by email or yousendlt. My greatest affinity and experience is to the texts to a young audience, but I'm open to other audiences, texts or proposals. I bet for versatility.

Josee Bisailloninfo@joseebisaillon.comBio Josée Bisaillon grew up in St-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada. Rather than follow in her father's footsteps as a veterinary surgeon, she chose to cut animals from paper: they were colorful, low maintenance and always in fine health. Today her illustrations, a mixture of collage, drawings and digital montage, take us into a world so richly detailed and multidimensional that you'd hardly think it all came out of only one person's imagination. When not making pictures, Josée enjoys knitting socks for her young daughter Charlotte and is touring the world as a virtual Rock Band guitarist. Bisaillon's has won many Applied Arts Illustration Award and LUX Illustration Awards in Québec, and was a finalist for the 2008 Governor General's Literary Awards in Canada.

Korey Scottkorey_scott@hotmail.comBioHello! My name is Korey Scott, and I am an illustrator who specializes in children's books, educational material, and funny characters/cartoons. My illustration style (traditional or digital) is perfect for capturing the attention of children and adults. Not only are they fun to look at, but they provide a beneficial resource to a child's education. I love what I do, and I try to put something unique in each project while learning something new too. When I am not drawing (and many times when I am) you can find me telling jokes, making sound effects, speaking Spanish, and trying to make people laugh. Contact me now for your next project! Tanja Bauerletanja@bauerle.comBioEven though Tanja has been an artist her entire life she has worked professionally as a Graphic Designer for over 12 years. Her design sense and strong composition and color skills can clearly been seen in her illustrations. Since 2003, Tanja has strictly worked as a freelance illustrator and designer with her main focus being children’s illustration. Her first picture book, “There’s a Coqui in My Shoe!”, written by Marisa de Jesus Paolicelli and released by ChiChi Rodriguez Books in 2007, won the 2008 10th Annual International Latino Book Awards for Best Educational Children's Book - English. Her second book “The Adventures of Salt and Soap at Grand Canyon” published by the Grand Canyon Association will be released in the spring of 2009. In addition to design and illustration projects varying from character studies, book illustrations, greeting cards and marketing collateral, Tanja has enjoyed working on numerous book jackets ranging from children’s titles to adult fiction and non-fiction titles. Her love of story telling drives her to continually refine her craft. Traditional mediums such as acrylics, water color as well as pen and ink are Tanja’s favorite, but she also loves the freedom that digital tools such as Photoshop offer. Tanja is an active member of the Arizona chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and helps out as Co-Illustrator Representative. After having lived in Germany and Australia, Tanja now calls Arizona her home with her family and her two Goldens Otto and Peanut and cat Ducky.
