Cherry Stains is built on the model of Cherry Ames, a fictional character who has many adventures -- from being a student nurse to a flight nurse to an island nurse to a jungle nurse (!).

Cherry Stains has no such ambitions. She'll 'stick' close to home (har-har), unless she travels to spread malaria. That could happen.
