A antique Mexican shrine to the Guadalupe came to me (literally, by van, from a stranger). After my husband repaired it, I filled in the hole where the painting should have been with this image. I wanted a Guadalupe in a intimate setting with her child. She is protective and loving. She is watched over by the spiritual forces in the universe.
